Cicero, N.Y. — A 53-year-old man was arrested after he crashed his car through the front doors of a Lowes in Cicero, police said Friday.
David L. Brown, 53, of Potsdam was driving a Chevrolet sedan around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when he crashed it into the store’s main entrance at 5701 East Circle Drive, said Cicero Police Chief Steve Rotunno. He was attempting to back out when police arrived, he said.
The glass sliding doors were shattered, Rotunno said. There was significant damage to the building and sedan, he said.
After more investigation Brown was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, Rotunno said Friday.
