Syracuse, N.Y. -- After that endlessly cloudy month of January that Upstate New York just endured, today kicks off a nearly weeklong stretch of well-deserved, mostly sunny days.

“Clouds will scatter out Saturday, opening the door to an extended period of dry weather and sunny days into next week,” the National Weather Service office in Binghamton said.
