Syracuse, N.Y. -- Nearly all of Upstate New York is under a winter weather advisory today and Wednesday as a storm bringing snow and ice surges northward.
“Light snow will develop this afternoon and change to a period of freezing rain tonight,” the National Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute tonight and the morning commute Wednesday.”
