Syracuse, N.Y. – Benedicte Doran, the first woman to chair the Onondaga County Republican Committee, said today she will not seek reelection to the post she has held for more than three years.

Doran, 54, of Jamesville, told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard that the GOP will hold an election for a new chair at its Feb. 9 convention, when the party meets to designate candidates for 2024.
