Syracuse, N.Y. — Average home sale prices are up $30,000 or more when compared with this time last year in five Onondaga County towns, according to new data.
The towns are Camillus, DeWitt, Lysander, Onondaga and Pompey.
Prices are up the most in Pompey. The average sale price for a home there is now $468,500, up $61,400 from this time in 2023, according to data from Central New York Information Service Inc., an arm of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors.
The numbers reflect sales through Feb. 6.
Countywide, the average price for a home is now $275,800, up about 6.5% from this time last year. Total sales are flat at 347.
