Taylor Swift announces new album

Surprise! Taylor Swift announced a new album at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, but it’s not “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” as some Swifties expected. TayTay went on stage to accept the award for Best Pop Vocal Album when she revealed she’ll release “The Tortured Poets Department” on April 19. “This is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that,” she joked. “So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19.” Swift also shared a photo of the album cover with some lyrics online. Billboard reports the album will feature 16 new songs and a bonus track, “The Manuscript.”
