Syracuse, N.Y. – If you want the best chances of clear skies for the total solar eclipse on April 8, Upstate New York is not, unfortunately, your best bet.
Of the 61 official weather measuring sites in the eclipse’s U.S. path, which spans from southwestern Texas to northern Maine, no place is more likely to have clouds covering the sky than Syracuse.
