Superstar DJ replaces Tiesto at Super Bowl

Tiësto was tapped to become the Super Bowl’s first ever in-game DJ, but is dropping out of Sunday’s gig due to a “personal family emergency. It was a tough decision to miss the game, but family always comes first.” Billboard reports another superstar DJ, Kaskade, will replace Tiësto at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. “As a kid who grew up in Chicago watching the NFL Super Bowl every year with my family, this chance to actually be part of it is absolutely mind blowing,” said Kaskade, known for songs like “Escape” and work with Deadmau5, John Summit, Imagine Dragons, Sofi Tukker and Skrillex. He will perform during player warmups and game breaks, as well as appear during the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast.

Brittany Mahomes in SI Swimsuit issue

Speaking of the Super Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes is posing in a bikini and a red one-piece with cut-outs for the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The 28-year-old mom of two is an SI Swim rookie for the magazine and a founder of the first dedicated stadium for women’s sports. “I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen,” Brittany said, referencing a song by her new BFF Taylor Swift. “I’m so thankful and honored and so excited to be here... As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit edition]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
