Josh Allen wasn’t exactly devastated to find out that he wasn’t the league’s MVP this season.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback likely knew it wasn’t his year as he skipped NFL Honors to participate in a trivia contest for Barstool Sports. Following his impressive trivia debut with The Yak, former NFL tackle and current co-host of Bussin’ With the Boys, Taylor Lewan, broke the news to Allen.

“I didn’t get it? I didn’t get it?!” Allen jokingly asked Lewan before pretending to cry.

Lewan would tell Allen that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took 49 of 50 first place votes before asking Allen if he knew who took the only other first place vote.

“Me?” Allen questioned.

After Lewan confirmed that Allen did in fact take one first place vote, Allen let out an excited, “Hey!”

Lewan and Allen went on to joke that this is the first baby step on Allen’s road to MVP. Lewan added that if Allen continues picking up first place votes at this rate, he’ll lock up MVP in about 35 seasons.

“We’ll get there,” Allen confirmed.

Allen may not be NFL MVP, but he was certainly MVP for The Yaks during Barstool Sports’ The Dozen Trivia competition. In a video shared by Barstool Yak, Big Cat shared how Allen agreed to join the team on last second notice and how he carried the team on Thursday night.
