The 2024 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will be held at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders and UNLV Rebels Football.

The stadium, which just opened in 2020, holds up to 65,000 people.

According to the stadium’s website, Allegiant features 95,000 square feet of field event space, 75,000 square feet of video boards and over 10 event spaces.

This will be the first time the stadium hosts the Super Bowl, but it hosted both the 2022 and 2023 Pro Bowl Games.

Allegiant’s highest attended events are concerts, where the field can be used for extra seating.

K-pop boy band BTS reached 199,697 people over a four-day residency at the stadium during their 2022 Permission to Dance on Stage tour. Trap artist Bad Bunny sold out 92,000 seats over two days in his 2022 World’s Hottest Tour. Pop star Beyoncé similarly sold out over 86,000 seats over two days for her 2023 Renaissance World Tour.

Country artist Garth Brooks sold out the highest single-night concert at Allegiant in 2021, reaching an attendance of 68,000 for his self-titled stadium tour.

The stadium has also hosted other sporting events, such as the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup final between the United States and Mexico.

The stadium was also announced as one of the hosts of the 2024 Copa América games. Nevada will see national soccer teams from Brazil, Paraguay, Ecuador and Jamaica faceoff between late June and early July, before hosting a quarter-final matchup that might include the USA and Brazil.

Ticketmaster currently holds the cheapest ticket for Super Bowl LVIII at $5,800.

Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas Nevada, will host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to win back-to-back championships, and Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers, on Feb. 11.
